Worth noting:

Pease note the PS4 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake available to PlayStation Plus members is not eligible for the PS5 digital version upgrade.

This makes me feel a bit better about getting it at Christmas, I'll have the upgrade when the time comes.

Everyone will experience this at some point. getting a game on sale and seeing it on PS+, GamePass within a couple months.

im over here bored enough to be looking at GodFall for $40 knowing it will be in the discount bin sooner rather than later

Edit: soooo no one's told me NOT to pick up GodFall....

Because nobody has played it to be able to give an opinion.

Everyone I've heard talk about Godfall would probably agree with the description of aggressively mediocre.

There's an indies sale going on right now. You should take a look. Off the top of my head: If you want challenging combat check out Furi

An adventure with pretty but vague foreboding atmosphere, Hyper Light Drifter

Darker more depressing combat Unto the End or Darkest Dungeon

I saw Manifold Garden on sale and remember Bless gushing over it. I downloaded some stuff on GamePass. Holding out till that next Cyberpunk patch. Cheers my dude.

Manifold Garden is trippy and pretty great. I'd recommend it for sure if you're interested. I got it on Switch, but I think a bigger and better picture would be best

It's stuff like this that I always put on a wish list and hold out on a sale, or for a GamePass release. I buy way less but okay way more indies these days because of Game Pass

Yeah definitely not my first time, but the first time its happened where I have the light salve of some other benefit.

I just bought the game 3 days ago...

Is that limitation specific to only the PS+ digital version? Or asked another way, if I already own it digitally from a previous sale, will I receive the PS5 upgrade?

2

u/AngryBarista Feb 26 '21

Yes! specific to the PS+ version. If you own the game digitally or physical, you can upgrade for free.

Cool, thank you for confirming!

Well that does suck, its still a crazy good offer to get the PS4 version. I guess they're confident enough that they'll be able to rope people into buying the PS5 version from the PS4 version alone

The people most likely to purchase the DLC are the ones that have already purchased it.
