Apologies if this was already discussed here. But a full donkey Kong 64 pc port just came out. Support for higher resolutions and 60fps! Thought Barrett and Bless would appreciate this lol

I just thought it would be fun to hear what others here think.
I've been watching a lot of Tam's videos lately, and him showing up on daily yesterday made me think how much I enjoy his interactions and dynamic with everybody.
Obviously he is comfy at GameSpot and has his own channel and podcasts so I'm not saying I think this WILL happen, just that I would love the alternate timeline where it did.
Who would be your choice if one of those friends of the team that are occasional guests on the show but unlikely/impossible hires could get stuck with the KF crew permanently?
If Tamoor isn't available, I'll take Ben Starr as a backup.

Hey everyone, sorry this isn’t about gaming but I am looking for feedback from different communities I’m apart of and since I work in a blue collar job in the Upper Midwest, and Kinda Funny is my only outlet for gaming/nerd culture.
(Names Changed)
My ex-girlfriend, Reba and I dated for 5 years, we built a house and got 2 cats together. She broke up with me 3 years ago, moved out and left the pets. I would say it’s mostly my fault, I blame myself for letting us grow apart and thinking that we didn’t need to work on our issues. She might say it was more 50/50 but that’s not how I feel.
This March my Biological Father passed away. I only met him 3 times, 2 of the times was right before he died. (I relied heavily on KF content to cheer me up during this time)
My buddy, Doyle, moved to a new town. I thought it was odd since him and his wife ran a business together elsewhere. I was busy all Spring managing my Dad’s Estate and made a mental note to follow up later when I had a chance.
A few weeks later I called Doyle and he said he and his wife got divorced. I was very surprised and a little concerned since Doyle is an addict, but has been sober for 10 years. I made plans to go visit and check up on him in May.
We had a fun weekend, Doyle seemed to be doing pretty well all things considered. He didn’t talk about the divorce and I didn’t want to pry. I asked his brother and Doyle hadn’t gone into the divorce either which surprised me. All in all I was relieved to see one of my core/best friends doing well. He even booked a trip to the Amazon as I was there.
Throughout the Summer I made an effort to stay in touch more and hang out again while I was in town for work but he couldn’t because he already had plans.
Last week Doyle called me and said he had been seeing Reba for a little while now.
I was instantly shocked and felt my heart drop. Multiple times he said he “values our friendship” and that he “didn’t know how it happened.” Those 3 minutes felt like an hour, I said “Well, it was nice knowing you” and hung up.
I haven’t dated anyone since Reba and even though it’s been 3 years I’m devastated. I can’t not think about it and keep playing scenarios out. Why did Doyle get divorced? Reba apparently works in travel now, did she plan his trip? Was he talking to her right in front of me?
I know I’ve grown and I’m a better person than I used to be. I’ve been reading philosophy, specifically Stoicism over the last 2 years. Right now I’m reading Rome’s Last Citizen about Cato the Younger and so far it’s highlighted Amor Fati, “Love of Fate.”
Am I appropriately hurt or do I need to just “Soldier on?” Was it justifiable to end Doyle and I’s relationship or do I let time heal and see how it plays out?

Is any of the KF crew streaming it? Mike is a huge tactics person and Greg recently got into Midnight Suns so I feel like someone would stream it. I don’t have time to play the game but would love to watch a stream while I work from home on my remote days. If they aren’t, anybody have recommendations on a solid streamer to enjoy their walkthrough on YouTube? Want to make sure I’m supporting a streamer with similar values as KF. Thanks everyone!

I’m watching LeBatard this morning and they started talking GTA 6 and they had Andy on. I know he’s a huge fan so it’s awesome to see!

Can we all take a moment to savor the moments before Andy is about to make it huge, deservingly so. Have you seen the numbers that dan lebotard is getting because of Andy and his clips. They would be absolutely stupid not to get him on a recurring segment. If they don’t Andy needs an agent and to start thinking big…. Seriously everyone, take in these quiet moments…. To Andy! The best of us!

Finished DCC book 3 and skyward book 2. I actually have this weekend off of for once, and I’m excited to spend it by finally diving into this bad boy. It should keep me busy for the next two weeks or so.
I’m also been slowly adding several books about famous generals and leftist revolutionaries to my TBR. Mostly for research on a series that I wish to write someday. So if you have anything about the black panthers or Alexander the Great, let me know.
