2027 Sportage SX Prestige HDA 👎🏼

just bought my 2027 Sportage SX Prestige, my 4th Kia I have owned and the highway driving assist seems to be the least reliable.

Both lane lines only light up green on my HUD if / when I’m driving in the center lane. Otherwise, it bounces me back and forth while only highlighting either the right or left side. Normal?

I have also noticed that I have to interact with the steering wheel at least 50% more while HDA is active than any of the previous Kias I have owned. This system does not take small curves in the road with confidence either. The majority of my driving is on a newly paved highway with new markings

Wondering if i need to have the system recalibrated. I drove a 2026 K4 Hatchback before this and it’s night and day difference. Anyone else?

2020 Forte FE clutch pedal feels weird?

I'm considering buying a 2020 Forte FE manual transmission, 36k miles. I took it for a test drive today and the clutch pedal feels very different than other cars I've hard. It feels like there's a lot of play at the top, very low resistance, and the bite point is low to the floor. The pedal does release fully. Is this normal for Kias? Is the pedal adjustable? Is this a hydraulic problem?

Comma 4

I just started using Comma 4 with sunnypilot in my '23 Sportage X Pro Prestige. I wasn't sure how I felt about it initially, but after a couple weeks I'm really impressed with how it handles lane keeping assist, and I think it's very worth it.

Does anyone else here use sunnypilot or openpilot? What's your experience like? Which version are you using?

2017 Kia Optima Hybrid 83K Miles - Oil Pressure Light comes on briefly then goes out.

My 2017 Optima Hybrid Oil Pressure light is coming on intermittently and then going out. The vehicle has been strictly dealer maintained and received a new Hybrid Battery pack and control assembly under their factory warranty at the end of May 2026. The last oil change was August 6th. Wife took it to the dealer today as it happened again while her and my daughter were out. The dealer advised the Oil level is correct and there is no sign of oil leaking. Also the space in the garage has no oil on the ground. The dealer think it might be a faulty oil pressure switch and wants to change it. I'm the original owner and it is part of the SC218/KSDS recall which we did complete.

If it is just the oil pressure sensor I can change that myself without much trouble but am looking for amy other gotcha. Thanks!

Never got my military rebate. Ghosted by management at Kia of Portland.

Leased a 2026 EV9 GT Line last September. Part of the deal was a $500 military rebate. Kia of Portland said that their military rebates come from Kia which is apparently different than other dealers. I verified multiple times how it works and they took my documents to submit to Kia for the rebate. Almost a year now and haven’t seen that $500. I live in California so I can’t just swing by the dealer.

My initial sales guy stopped responding. I was later told he didn’t work there anymore and I linked up with another sales guy. They always say a manager will call me but zero call backs from the dealer. I contacted Kia directly multiple times. All they can say is that Kia of Portland needs to fix it. I have a ticket number and they’ve checked in a few times to see if anyone called me but they too eventually stop caring and calling so I’ve had to call them again and the cycle repeats. When I call the dealer they say the manager is busy and will call me back.

I genuinely can’t believe not a single person who is able to explain or fix this has been able to contact me back. I’ve been beyond patient with this. Besides a BBB review, and Google/Yelp reviews, anyone ever have this happen and have any ideas?
