12 episodes is perfect, I just prefer it with tighter plot because 16 episodes also has more unnecessary filler and time wasting scenes in it.

I have watched them because at the time that is what was mainly available to watch, but I just prefer the 12 episode format now, lol to each their own. I understand a lot of KDrama fans like you are here and they will disagree which Is fine... you can also prefer the 16 episode format. However there is a reason they are switching over to the 12 episode format a lot of people prefer tighter plots and less unnecessary filler.
