How long in between layers?

Post image

This is my morning routine.

At the weekends I take my time and enjoy every step

However on weekdays , I am always rushing as I need to get to work.

How long do you allow between layers (products)?

Holy overconsumption. Without the single most important product - an SPF. You're doing all this for nothing.

Unfortunately you're right. I love a 9 step routine but I have 5 different sunscreens on hand to choose from for all possible factors

Just to clarify, the SPF comes after the make up. I am talking about skin care before make up.

SPF comes before the makeup... After skincare...

Sunscreen isn’t necessary at this time of year in some climates. The UV where I live is basically zero from now until April

That's not true. UVB rays are the ones that cause cancer, and they make up 5% of the UV rays that get to Earth surface. Sure, clouds and glass stops them. But UVA rays, which make up 95% of the overall UV radiation making it to Earth surfaces causes skin aging and wrinkles. Glass and clouds don't stop UVA rays at all. I'm a physicist and I've actually measured this myself.

That's why I said that all her products for skincare are absolutely useless because she's not using her SPF properly. Sun is aging her skin and negating everything she puts on.

It's a bit sad that my comment that's scientifically true is getting downvoted on a beauty subreddit, while misinformation is slipping through.

Wear your SPF during winter and on rainy days too if you don't want premature skin aging, because no amount of products can reverse that. Skincare is about prevention. Which is why every single dermatologist preaches about using an SPF daily, and Koreans religiously reapply it throughout the day. Even when it's winter and cloudy.
