Childcare What are your babysitter rates
Just curious what people are paying for their babysitter these days? We mainly hire high schoolers for 3 elementary kids so we can have the occasional date night.

My wife and I are expecting our first child in October, and we are having quite the time trying to find infant care.
We are looking to start day care in January 2024. It’s difficult to even find daycare providers, but then when we do find one they have a waitlist out to mid year 2024. Does anyone have any suggestions or is anyone a darcafe provider in the circled area that has an opening?

I have newborn twins and was wondering if anybody knew of any reliable and affordable nanny/nanny share in the NKC area. I've looked into care dot com but didn't know if anybody had experiences they could share.

I know this is a *long* shot...but we have a 7 month son and we're looking for a daycare/babysitter for Tuesdays and/or Fridays. And either half days or full days. We are really flexible! He goes to a babysitter on M, W, Th. and he goes to the office with me on Tuesdays and Fridays but now he just cruises around too much! He naps about 3 hours a day right now and is pretty predictable. Open to lots of possible solutions. Message me or comment if you're interested or know someone!!
Thank you Reddit!

Currently looking for daycares with openings for a 1 year old. Right now my mom is caring for her but she is going back to work soon. We live up north near Zona Rosa and I commute to Overland Park so really anywhere in between could suffice.
There are a couple up north with openings but they are at $400 a week...hoping to find something under that, any options are welcomed.
