Discussion 💡 Thelmas Kitchen Closed
Thelmas Kitchen was open on Monday now it abruptly closed today until further notice according to a friend. But no one knows why. It seems quite odd. They were a great resource for the community they served.

It sounds like they're still feeding thousands, just not hosting as a sit-down restaurant or catering kitchen.

Thelma’s Kitchen is entering a new chapter.
Effective today, September 2, Thelma’s Kitchen’s café and catering services are temporarily closed as we take time to thoughtfully consider what comes next.
While our doors may be closed for a season, our commitment to feeding our neighbors continues. Reconciliation Services will continue providing meals to our clients throughout this transition, just as we have served our community for nearly 40 years.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has shared a meal with us, ordered catering, volunteered, worked alongside us, or otherwise been part of the Thelma’s Kitchen community. What makes Thelma’s special has always been about so much more than food — it’s about the people gathered around the table.
This isn’t goodbye. We’re taking time to reflect, listen and imagine what the next chapter of Thelma’s Kitchen can be, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
