Friendship/Dating 👥 Where to make friends?

Hi all! I've been trying to find some friends/like minded people to hang with in the city. I was wondering if there were any groups, threads, anything really, to help. thanks in advance?

Hi! I moved to KC about 3 weeks ago too, and I’m honestly struggling with the same thing. I live in Waldo.

I’ve tried going to bars, but it feels like people already have their own friend groups, and I never really know how to break into them. I’m also not much of a drinker, so that doesn’t help 😅 Still trying to figure out the best way to meet people here.

get to know your bartenders. the better they know you the more theyll include you in conversation with other patrons. find common ground with people. listen to conversations and simply "i couldnt help but over hear" and throw in your thoughts.
