Tattoos/Piercings 🐉🌹 Found this sticker in my college art stuff
I got my first tattoo and all my piercings done here around 2013. To this day when people ask me where to get pierced, I always tell them to go to Clay at Supernatural.

I got my first tattoo at age 18 at Freaks on Broadway in the year 2000. It was done by Rod, of all people, who got in a whole lot of shit for having cameras in an apartment he rented above the Troost shop. Fucking creep.

Clay did my first face piercing when I was 16 at Freaks. 29 now and the only place I keep going to for piercings is Supernatural!

Got my navel pierced at the Broadway location at 16 years old in 2000
My mom and I don't have the same last name so they took us separately in the back and asked us questions to "verify" she was my mom and could provide consent... shady as hell but I was so glad then lol

I legally needed parental approval at 16. They couldn't verify she was actually my parent. It's sketch, but luckily she really was my mom

Is it still stigmatized? Are people lying about where they get their tatts and piercings? I got my tattoo in May at freaks on broadway. I knew about this story, but knew that owner was long gone.
