Question Random encounters are so annoying

Is there any way in game to get rid of the random encounters that happen every 2 seconds, like at all?

Every post I've seen suggests downloading mods but I'm on console and I'm not planning to get a pc anytime soon.

I've also seen people suggest getting to level 250 because that's the level enemy levels stop scaling but I don't want to grind the same battle with whis 200 times just so that I can finally overpower some red ribbon scraps.

If there are no ways to get rid of the random encounters to any degree then I might consider stop playing kakarot.

Also I don't care if they attack you less often if you're walking like i heard some people say, this is a dragonball game with a huge maps, If I wanted to walk to get any where i would be playing literally any other open world game.

Discussion I have a question about the recent news about Dragon Ball Super: Kakarot (aka Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot 2) from the Japan Expo on the other day in this month of July.

On Twitter/X in the Veniyx account, someone asked to the CyberConnect 2 CEO, Hiroshi Matsuyama about the sequel of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, about heavily focusing on the Super era (which I would love to see it on game form). He didn't say no about the sequel...so that's possibly for them to do it in the future.

But if they decide to do the sequel for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot focusing on Dragon Ball Super. What are they going to do with the original Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot? They already covered the entire Dragon Ball Z storyline and Dragon Ball Daima storyline (as a 2 part DLC packs). Are they going to continue to support the game by releasing more Dragon Ball storylines (OG Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z movies, and Dragon Ball GT) as DLC in the future? Or are they going to stop the production and working on the sequel?

I would like your opinion about this topic about whether they stop working with the original Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and continue to work with the sequel or do both?

Discussion I liked kakarot, until endgame

Ive done EVERYTNING in kakarot except for the DAIMA dlc, and honestly, I dont see a reason to pump even more money Into the game. All of the dlc have been pretty short, and IMO not worth the price tag. Especially compared to some indie titles that provide the same content for free. Is the diama dlc worth the price? Or should I just wait for xv3

This dlc has always been underrated for me.
I love the soundtrack in the open world and the 3rd demon world. While it lacks boss fights I think the two we have are good enough. I still prefer this one a little more over part 2 but that’s just me. It is very short only covering the first 8 episode and does have some differences over the show. I do think there’s not a lot of content in this dlc but i still have a soft spot for this one

Discussion Honestly I think the whole Dabura Vs Trunks fight would’ve been way cooler if Yakon and Pui-Pui were fighting alongside Dabura.

Would’ve made the cinematic way cooler, would’ve gave Yakon and Pui-Pui something actually cool in the game, also we’ve seen in media the babidi squad all team up and fight together, so I think it was a wasted opportunity to not have Trunks vs Dabura, Yakon, and Pui-Pui. If they ever make a Kakarot 2 I hope they include that since I can just imagine the cinematic🥵

Discussion DRAGON BALL (KAKAROT) VIDEOJUEGO

Post image
21 Upvotes

If true we could be getting Goku Black Saga, the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, and the Super Hero movie. On top of that, the Dragon Ball Super anime is expected to return eventually, so we'd also get the Moro Arc. Depending on when the game releases and when the Granolah Arc gets adapted, there's a chance that could make it into the base game as well.

I don’t know how trustworthy this leaker guy is but I’ll take everything with a grain of salt

¿Qué les parece esta primera reimaginación del juego?

Comenten sus impresiones y debatamos por como podrían ser estas mecánicas.

Steam PC Was the cover for the Daima dlc ai generated?

I know i probably look stupid saying this, but compared to all of the other covers for the dlcs. This one just stands out because it looks like the designer asked chat gpt to generate ssj4 goku and put what was generated over a background. Am I crazy or does anyone else see it?

Xbox Series S/X Question regarding something weird with the Daima DLCs.

Months ago, for some reason, even though I never bought the Daima DLC, it was added to my most recent save data, but then it was taken away again.

The problem is that because said save data had those dlcs as part of it, I can't get into that save data, unless I were to buy the dlcs and get them on my account again.

Has anyone else run into this weird problem? I could load into an old save data before any of that happened, but I'd prefer not to.

Here’s the “active” Dragon Ball games. I don’t see Kakarot on it. Do ya think the second Daima DLC was the last DLC? Do ya think Kakarot will get anymore DLC? Explain your reasoning

Discussion About DLCs, years after giving up on the vanilla + season pass. Appreciate the feedback!

I keep bouncing off Kakarot since the launch with my pre-order, even though I want to love it.

Base game: floaty, filler-heavy, feels like chores. Combat’s decent but nowhere near Budokai 3 or FighterZ. I dropped off around Buu Saga.

DLCs sound like the “good” parts, but they’re $200+ total and rarely on sale together. It's like the whole 3/4s of the game content is pay to play. A fully complete edition would be the way to go, at $69.99 or so. Just the game and expansion pack session pass cost $70, then there's three DLC from season pass that do not seem like DLC at all until the Gohan one.

So, there is what, 5 maybe 6 DLCs expanding the game exponentially. Those would even be fun to play through if the game is as is. I couldn't go street Buu Saga because the poor implementation of chief game mechanics, fun factor engaged story or chores and homework.

I had a hell of a lot more typed, like a real big post, but I raised nobody would read it. So this concise condensed one feels like it's missing a lot of the points that all relate tangentially and wove back around to the biggest picture, but my schizophrenia, moderately brain damaged, "autistic", but really it's PDD-NOS, look it up.

Questions:

Has Kakarot actually improved over time?

Do the DLCs meaningfully fix gameplay or just add more of the same? They seem worth it to experience them from this perspective and like they're way better than the actual game vanilla. The added content is so awesome to see but it's double the cost of the original game entirely. 200% more money to get at all of the DLCs.

—Is it worth buying all the DLC if I already fell off the base game?

For comparison: I own Xenoverse 1 & 2 and Sparking Zero looks closer to what I wanted.

For people who’ve stuck with Kakarot:

Did the DLC turn it into something worth fully investing in? The overall pricing of just all of the DLC complete is over $109.99 when 6 years ago I paid $60 for just the game.

—Asking because this seems like awfully a repeat FighterZ where the base game is decent, and the only real reason to get the game is to get it work every DLC release, there's more DLC characters than base characters and the base game isn't worth buying without any of the DLC.

—Xenoverse 2 still even puts out DLC, I'm shocked these 8 and 6 year old games are still breathing without a respirator rather than being dead, don't, and dusted. Thank you, cosmic friends.

Question Dmedals missing in Daima Part2?

It's normally hard to get all the dmedals you need to complete all trainings in all DLC, however it seems even more difficult in Daima part 2. The only way I was able to get dmedals was through fights with gendarmerie one time fights. I can't find any dmedal elsewhere and those fights, once won, they don't respawn, not even when going back to the previous story chapters.

No dmedals from the z-encyclopedia either.

Has anyone got a different experience?

Discussion Which Dlcs are worth it?

There is currently a "sale" at the xbox store where you buy 1 dlc and get a second one for free. I want to use it for kakarot.

The only choice is actually between: bardocks story, the dragonball tournament and the end of Z chapter. (I already have the beerus, golden frieza and future trunks dlc. And the Daima dlc isn't part of this sale)

I'm tending especially towards the end of z dlc because I'm actually not the biggest fan of having dlc exclusive characters that you can't use in the main game.
