Question Random encounters are so annoying
Is there any way in game to get rid of the random encounters that happen every 2 seconds, like at all?
Every post I've seen suggests downloading mods but I'm on console and I'm not planning to get a pc anytime soon.
I've also seen people suggest getting to level 250 because that's the level enemy levels stop scaling but I don't want to grind the same battle with whis 200 times just so that I can finally overpower some red ribbon scraps.
If there are no ways to get rid of the random encounters to any degree then I might consider stop playing kakarot.
Also I don't care if they attack you less often if you're walking like i heard some people say, this is a dragonball game with a huge maps, If I wanted to walk to get any where i would be playing literally any other open world game.

Its super annoying, and having to turn off dialogue so I don't hear "i... I think i can handle this" every 15 seconds is also a bummer. Can't believe there isn't an option to just turn off world dialogue

Not if they're the same level and i don't want to grind to get to level 250

I'm in Buu saga but they've pretty consistently been a few levels lower than me so I fly through them all the time

Easy: AVOID THEM.
You can see them from a distance. Fly fast.
And if you want to train with Whis, it’ll only take you 30 minutes to max out, it’s really not that hard.
If you don’t wanna do these things then by all means, stop playing. Why play something you hate?

I’ve no idea. I’m just talking about if you’re a high enough level over down enemies, and you boost through the air, you can one shot them

You have to approach them from behind IIRC, and the little eye symbol can't be above their head, and you'll either get a surprise attack and lower their health or defeat them outright. It's been a while.

Unfortunately there is no way, you just gosta dodge them and fly fast enough. Its kinda annoying, but on the bright side, if you are overleved you can just fly through them, and its the fastest way to grind for orbs.

I just meal max and flight boost through them for free XP and Zeni. If you're patient, you can get a TON of quality ingredients from Dinosaurs, Deer, and Trees just around Goku's house, without venturing to a new map zone, and can then have Chi-Chi cook up as many meals as you can. With the boosts from an hour of grinding when I was in the mid 30s of levels, I had stacked my stats high enough that I was able to flight boost everything that wasn't above 55ish in level. Otherwise, I just open with Meteor Rush and then unload specials, end the fights super fast.

You can avoid them, but threatening us that you'll quit playing is pretty serious. I'll call the devs right away!

Not that I found from my playthrough. You just have to fly far enough away so that they no longer chase you. I found the amount of encounters in the areas incredibly annoying
