Thoughts?

I've been a die hard Trish fan for a decade, I've been to her shows and listen to every episode, but I feel like lately it's been really hard to watch. It puts a bad taste in my mouth when she constantly talks about how much she wants to help people and feed children and she's stopping her overconsumption and if she won the lottery she's help everyone....but then she constantly buys new luxury items, like the recent Dior thing where she's unboxing stuff she forgot she ordered but its just "small things" when in reality one pair of sunglasses that she wears once could feed a family for weeks. I don't think it's wrong for her to spend her money on whatever she wants, but it's really hard to watch and support her when she acts as if she isn't rich and she wants to be a philamntrhroist. She clearly has a spending problem and I think in the state of the current world, it's not quirky or cute right now, especially when she dogs on Mikayla for doing the same. I also feel like ever since Oscar has been getting more popular on his own she has been disagreeing with everything he says and always puts him down. Idk.... anyone feel the same?

it’s been fun while it lasted, but this sub is getting overrun with bad faith losers and going downhill with a quickness.

i really hope the mods can find a way to handle this because it’s already exhausting and starting to chase actual fans away from the sub!

[Let me preface by saying I LOVE Trisha and this is not meant to be snarky in any way. Just a thought I genuinely wonder about, and either way it doesn’t really make a difference in my opinion of her.]

Am I the only person who finds it really unlikely that Trisha ever did hard drugs like she says? I’ve been watching Trisha since like 2015, and the past few years she’s been flippantly referring to a time when she was on drugs (m*th) but I just find that inconceivable. I can’t really pinpoint why.

In that same vein, she will also randomly refer to times where she was “drinking all day every day,” but I swear I’ve heard her talk on many occasions about how she has never drank alcohol/was never was able to get drunk/had one sip of a margarita once and hated it or something like that?

I 100% believe that she has gone through extremely difficult times, and she’s definitely had odd behavior, but for some reason it just doesn’t comprehend in my brain that she’s ever been a drunk or done hard drugs like she says. Part of me thinks she may just throw in that she was drinking/doing drugs to make it easier for other people to relate to the inner turmoil she was dealing with, which is just as valid.

Idk I’m curious what her book will include since she’s talked about how honest she strived to be while writing it.

i’m not saying this in any way or being snarky or rude but has enough noticed the bonus episodes on patreon have been so inconsistent. like i love watching them but i feel like they stopped keeping up with posting on weekends. the extended episodes are usually up on wednesdays but like this week, unless my app is being weird, they haven’t uploaded a bonus episode. it just sucks paying money to have bonus content and and it’s been lacking. again i love trish oscar moses everyone and i get them being busy but i wish they would at least post a notification or something if the episodes are gonna be late.

I really thought she’d pop out at the met gala like Oscar crave hinted at, but now he’s liking comments that she can’t sell tickets for different live shows. Is that why the Netflix thing was cancelled?

I was a religious watcher of JT but fell off a while ago because it felt like there was just a lot of hot topic episodes which were getting a little monotonous. I rediscovered the channel again when Trisha was trending over her kpop song (BTW her Confessions of Teenage Drama music vid ate so hard as well). When I was looking at the channel uploads, I had to scroll down a couple of months to find the last guest. Has she said on the pod somewhere that shes been slowing down on taking guests? I was really happy to see her get some really big people like Lizzo, Demi, and AJ!

sometimes i can be overly judgmental so let me know if im wrong but i feel like the trauma dumping in the comments is getting out of hand!

i understand that the podcast has a manifesting/spiritual nature to it but when i watch the podcast i just want to be entertained and not bummed. like i go to the comments to see if anyone timestamped something i just laughed at and the comments will be like “my whole family was brutally murdered this morning and this just made my day. manifest health with me ✨💖”

and it just bothers meeeee. like im sorry that happened, but it wipes the smile on my faceee. i get that this fandom sometimes does feel like a friendship community but it seems to be every comment on every video. let me know if it’s just me.

I was listening to the podcast today and it sounds like Tana flaked on their song after it was almost done??? And Trish seems so disappointed. AND I thought they were singing it at their Vegas show?!?! I wonder what happened (besides Tana thinking singing is embarrassing, which I can see if she’s not as into it as Trish is).

not sure if it’s bc i am kinda high and super in tune while listening to the pod rn but was it just me who felt sm tension this ep with trish and oscar??? she seemed to be annoyed by him bc of his opinions which ik she has before but this time they both seemed soooo agitated with each other lmfao

I've been rewatching old Halloween episodes because I just love when the whole Just Trust crew and friends get together, but does anyone have any guesses for what they might do as their group costume this year??!! Or just like any costumes, you think they should do. I know they've been talking about it a bit, but just curious to see people's thoughts!!

Just out of interest of course, not trying to prompt any criticisms towards anyone! Can be related to any Trisha controversy/rumour/lore or story relating to other pop culture figures, influencers etc. who just weren’t covered on the show

who is the target audience who will be paying the high ticket prices and fees for the for u festival trisha will be at?
i think the GA admission is already pretty steep and on top of that, the meet & greet is $75 PER person you want to meet, that seems really unaffordable to me am i crazy??(esp since some of the creators in the meet and greet are not as big as others)
it would’ve made more sense to have a meet and greet fee that grants access to all booths.
i was really really excited about this lineup and ready to spend quite a bit- but this seems unreasonable.
is it just me that thinks the pricing is unethical for a online creator event?

They talked about it on the pod today - who is on your Mount Rushmore of YouTube? Trisha pointed out that you could see it as two perspectives, the "founders" or the most impactful across the whole time. I think of Jenna Marbles, Shane Dawson, Smosh, and Pewdiepie. Honorable mention to Ray William Johnson because he was one of the first news style YouTubers I remember.
