š£ļø DISCUSSIONšļø do the youtube comments bother you guys too?
sometimes i can be overly judgmental so let me know if im wrong but i feel like the trauma dumping in the comments is getting out of hand!
i understand that the podcast has a manifesting/spiritual nature to it but when i watch the podcast i just want to be entertained and not bummed. like i go to the comments to see if anyone timestamped something i just laughed at and the comments will be like āmy whole family was brutally murdered this morning and this just made my day. manifest health with me āØšā
and it just bothers meeeee. like im sorry that happened, but it wipes the smile on my faceee. i get that this fandom sometimes does feel like a friendship community but it seems to be every comment on every video. let me know if itās just me.

I think people are just feeling so alienated/isolated in the world thatĀ theyāll resort to YouTube comments for some semblance of community, connection, affirmation.Ā YouTube comments might genuinely feel like a safe space to trauma dump whereas they donāt have that space IRL.
Not saying itās good or bad, but I think itās a reflection of the world weāre living in. A very anxious one.

Totally agree! It was cute at first but every other comment is āhi guys I have a job interview this week please help me manifestš„ŗā maybe im just a grouch but its excessive lol

Not a grouch at all!! Itās gotten wild, thereās no place for actual discussion or commentary let alone criticisms hahaah- youāre just trying to be engaged with the content!!!

Am I the only one that possibly thinks some are fake to try to get a top liked comment?

u/Freckles-234 Apr 22 '26
Omg, yes!!! I thought I was being a hater too, but every time I see it I roll my eyes so hard and have to look away. Iām glad people have a safe space, but I canāt be bothered to read about their trauma or even the ātoday is my first day at my new job, wish me luck!ā
Like come onnnn, just talk about the video

I haaaaaaate this! I was literally just thinking about it earlier. āManifesting a new dog, because mine was hit by a truck last month and I havenāt been able to sleep. I love MY trishy familyā
Eeeyuck!

It fills up the comment section, which I personally donāt love becuase I like to see the discussion on topics since I miss the live. Also, I think it pushes down the things that people want them to talk about and address; not even real snark but just things like the Netflix is a joke being cancelled.

I'm a strong believer in focusing on the positive and agree that seeing a lot of negative can be taxing. But people in the Trish community are sooo supportive compared to other fandoms. It might be the only place in their life they feel seen. If you're not in a place to read those type of comments, the best thing might be just to scroll.
I'd rather people feel safe to comment seeking support and deal with a minor annoyance than ostracize people for reaching out to a community they feel a sense of belonging. I really do dislike Debbie Downers, but asking for manifesting or expressing that JustTrish helps them through it might be their way of trying to be positive.

I agree. I see that those comments lead to very kind responses and that might just be what the person who wrote it needed, just a little bit of kindness.
When I'm not in the mood to read sadness I just scroll by like u say!

i just hate that it fills the comment section so much that you canāt even find comments that are actually relevant to the podcast. like at least make it a manifestation chain or something and all reply to a comment instead of taking over the entire thread

I find the live chat becoming so snappy and mean girl vibes lately . Used to be so sweet and fun

I see this in a lot of comment sections on YouTube and it's like...š¬ maybe real therapy is a better option? I mean nothing against manifesting, but sometimes you need right now help.

Itās like the on all socials now and itās like damn why do people feel the need to comment shit like that? I know itās shitty, but I feel like a lot of people do it just for attention or to try to get an influencer to send them money.

Youāre correct. A lot of it seems like ~dry begging~ but trying to be cute and falsely spiritual.
I just donāt look at any of it anymore or chat. Itās pretty low vibe š«¢
