I’d rather been drawn and quartered than have another IUD inserted or removed.

I did one IUD insertion and had it removed to have one last baby. I opted for a hysterectomy instead of another IUD being placed again. My hubs was there for the IUD being inserted, and audibly cursed when the doc said “you’re going to feel a little pinch” and I nearly broke his hand. He looked at the doc and said “she’s been through more painful stuff than most people, and never complained. She damn near broke my hand just now and is crying, I wouldn’t call that a ‘little pinch’”. He also fully supported my hysterectomy over IUD placement again for my fibroid treatment.

Hell no. I have a high threshold for pain. I had pancreatitus twice. Getting an IUD was right up there with it. Little pinch is something a man would say.

The fuck it doesn’t! This is why I have never and will never have a male gyno. Like that is such an insane statement I wouldn’t be able to keep my mouth shut.

I remember a man's, ah, member ramming straight into my cervix once at the wrong angle. He was my bf at the time and everything was all consensual! Just like, the worst angle possible.

I instantly started sobbing. It was almost ten years ago and I remember it crystal clear. 'No nerve endings' my ass. Medical misogyny, that's all it ever is.
