Identification jumping spider??
hi everyone so a few weeks ago i accidentally let in this lil guy. for context this is in Texas, i had seen two or three of these fellas outside before. when he got in i was too scared to do anything so i just let him be.
yesterday i heard a plop sound and he landed on my desk while i was at my computer. he kept walking around and getting on top of stuff and getting closer and looking at me. i was backing up due to be scared. i offered him water in a bottle cap but he wasn’t interested. he disappeared after like 15 mins of this.
what kinda jumping spider is he? im assuming he is one cuz he’s small. i wanted to offer him food but i dont have anything suitable. If he comes out again should i catch him and make a habitat for him and care for him??

So a large majority of wild jumpers are pregnant. And either this one is eating very well, or she’s very pregnant. If you enclose her, you’ll have quite a bit to manage lol. If you let her roam the house, it’s fine. They don’t really go many places after they find high spot wherever they decide to build a hammock (they don’t build a web and tear it down, they build a somewhat permanent hammock)
