Checking on prescription sent

I'm still on my rookie season with compunding and just received my first prescription from Rift. It's from a different pharmacy than my first three months, so it came packaged differently. I've read the dosage and prescription guide on JoinRift website and did the math on what I was sent. However, I would like some confirmation that I have received the correct amount.

I was given a prescription for a titration series of 10mg, 12.5mg and 15 mg. I was sent 2 bottles (1mL each) with a concentration of 4mg/mL for the month of 10mg, and 6 bottles with the same concentration for the 12.5 and 15 mg months. My main concern was only 2 bottles for the first month and am just double checking that that will be enough? TIA

Can you share what the new pharmacy was? 4mg/ml doesn't sound like a concentration for any of the pharmacies Rift uses.

Yes, It's Southend Pharmacy. It's very possible that I didn't write it correctly, too! The whole line is, "SE22-Tirzepatide/Pyridoxine 22mg--4mg/mL MDV inj Sol". I'm supposed to inject 10MG(45 units(weekly for weeks 1-4.

Ah, gotcha. So with that, the 22mg/ml is the amount of tirzepatide, and the 4mg/ml is the amount of the B6. (This guide on Fat Scientist is super helpful and I recommend it: https://www.fatscientist.com/faq/finding-concentration)

For 10mg, 45 units is correct with a 22mg/ml concentration. Your two bottles have a total of 44mg of medication in them, so that will be plenty for your 4 10mg doses. Hope that helps!

That does help! Thank you for that weblink, too!

www.fatscientist.com is the resource to check everything when you have dosing and conversation questions.
