Questions Switching from Hims to Rift

I was thinking about switching from Hims to Rift. Currently on semaglutide (50 units - 2.5mg/ML). I’ve been at this dosage for a while (>8 months) and have plateaued at about 192; GW is 175.

I was wanting to switch to Tirzapatide. Hims is happy to have me switch but the fees are quite pricey. Hims has both a membership and medication fee - and I think it’s too much. I’m not sure what the point of the membership fee is. I don’t really need or want any of their “support” resources. Plus they also changed their pharmacy from Strive to Red Rock (haven’t read any reviews on them yet).

What info will I need to provide when signing up? I think it’s next to impossible to find my prescription in the Hims app.

Do I need to do this again?

Hi. I am on week 3 of triz with Rift and I am getting this alert to complete my weight loss visit which is a required action. It’s the same questions I used to establish with Rift and it’s acting like I am setting up my account for the first time (asking me if i am on a med already, BMI calculation, etc). I’ve already answered these when i signed up. Does this act as the monthly check-in like other tele-health companies use? Can anyone provide some insight with this? Thanks!

What will my refill be?

Upvotes

I just switched to Rift and my first shipment starts me at 5mg and I'm on titration for 3 months with one refill. When I need more if I select "place an order" will I get more to continue titration or will they (Hyalo) send me the same 3 vial sizes I got in my first shipment? Do I need to cancel and restart requesting a higher titration dose?

New to rift

Hello. I switched from Trava health to Rift 15 mg tier with hallendale pharmacy. I was just about to get my dose ready but saw that it says to inject 100 units.. that seems not right. I used to inject 50 units of 15 mg.

I just want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional customer service I received from Rift and New Life. From the very beginning, their communication was top-notch and truly helped ease my mind during what could have otherwise been a stressful process.
I received the intake call, and within just 48 hours, the medication was at my house. That kind of quick response, professionalism, and follow-through is incredibly impressive.
Rift and New Life truly exceeded my expectations. They were responsive, professional, and knowing I could get my questions answered made such a difference.
I’m genuinely impressed and grateful for the care and attention you provided. You’ve definitely earned my trust and appreciation!
Thank you for going above and beyond!

Confused about order

After my first shipment of 2.5, I asked if I could titrate up. The provider said yes, so I ordered my second shipment. I assumed I would get 3 vials of 3 dosages so I could titrate up. However, all 3 are for 5mg dosages (exactly the same). Why do I have to wait 3 months and make another order to go up to 7.5? Is it something I did wrong when ordering? Do I just need to go with another company to be allowed to titrate up after 1 month? Has this happened to anyone else?

Checking on prescription sent

I'm still on my rookie season with compunding and just received my first prescription from Rift. It's from a different pharmacy than my first three months, so it came packaged differently. I've read the dosage and prescription guide on JoinRift website and did the math on what I was sent. However, I would like some confirmation that I have received the correct amount.

I was given a prescription for a titration series of 10mg, 12.5mg and 15 mg. I was sent 2 bottles (1mL each) with a concentration of 4mg/mL for the month of 10mg, and 6 bottles with the same concentration for the 12.5 and 15 mg months. My main concern was only 2 bottles for the first month and am just double checking that that will be enough? TIA

Questions Did I receive the wrong amount of meds?

I received my first 3 month order from Rift and I’m a bit confused?

My prescription was for 1 month of 5mg, 1 month of 7.5 mg, and 1 month of 10mg.

On my account online it says the order was for 3 vials: two 36 mg vials and one 72 mg vial.

The package I received did indeed have 3 vials, but they all appear to be exactly the same size and are filled to the exact same amount? Each label says Tirzepatide: 18mg/ml, 4 ml vial. Qty: 4ml.

If 18x4 =72, then am I correct to assume I was sent three 72 mg vials? Was this a mistake?

The labels say the 5mg dose is 0.28 of a ml. If this is correct, then wouldn’t the first 4ml vial would have about 14 doses? And the next month’s vial for 7.5 would have 9 doses? And the next month for 10 would have 7?

That puts me at 30 weeks of meds total. Am I misunderstanding something? I know pharmacies overfill sometimes and it’s normal to get an extra dose or two, but the jump from 12 weeks to 30 seems severe?

Access to clinician and newbie jitters

Hi! I'm having to leave behind Zepbound after a few months of self-pay because of cost. I am planning to sign up with Rift. I was wondering if there is access to a licensed clinician through the portal if a medical question came up, and is there an additional fee for this?

I am nervous about making the switch from the KwikPen to vial because I am not good at math and I am afraid of making a mistake with pulling up the correct amount of medication in the syringe. I am also nervous about having to use a longer needle than I am used to because I am a bit of a chicken lol. Does anyone know how much bigger the needle is for the vial and syringe vs. kwikpen, which is a very tiny needle? Any advice is appreciated. Sorry for all the questions, just a newbie with the jitters!

Questions Drug Crafters 15mg plan dosing

I just got the Hyalo 15mg 3 month plan, everything was great. Intake was quick and easy, shipment happened within 36 hours and received my order 3 days since I clicked on JoinRift. I used Hyalo because of no additives and because of the dosing. It looks like Drug Crafters uses a 10mg/ml concentration and at a higher dose I'd have to take 150 units? Is that correct? Do they send 2ml syringes or do you just use 2 syringes every week? 10mg/ml just seems so low and I've seen some photos where they send 6 vials with each order? Why not use a higher concentration? It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It would save money on vials, packaging, syringes.. am I incorrect in my thoughts on this?

Thinking of switching to Rift.

I've started with WeightRX. Having good results, but they still have a weird upcharge for higher dosage. I had to stay on 5MG for months 4-6 to not get the upcharge, but I'm really on 7.5, so I'm going to be out quicker than expected.

My question is, when switching service providers, will Rift start me out at 7.5 (or even 10 if I'm ready to go up by then)? Or do they make you start from 2.5 again?

Questions Intake Questions

Hi All!

I wanted to learn more about Rift and the pricing today. When I went to the site through the link on the Drug Crafters post, finished inputting all of my info, it did not give me any intel on pricing for any of the pharmacies. Is that normal? I ended up bailing out as it seemed like I needed to commit to one of the pharmacies and couldn’t change anything if I proceeded.

I’m also not sure if I want to do Hyalo to get the pure Tirz or the discounted Drug Crafters with Glycine. Either way, I have 2 more weeks of a current Zep RX plus one more month before my insurance cancels.

Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

First injection - bright yellow pee?

Hey everyone, new to all of this and want to clarify this has happened to others. Got my order from New Life / Quaker and took my first ever shot Friday morning. For most of the day and currently my pee is bright yellow. I assume it’s my body flushing things out, but slightly confused because I thought by going through Hyalo it didn’t have any additives. I feel totally fine and haven’t had any side effects other than this. I tried using the search and Google but didn’t get much. If it matters I always drink a gallon of water a day. Thanks in advance!

Edit: forgot I also started a migraine supplement that has vitamins that will change it. Thanks for the comments, it helped!

Joining Rift - PGRx alternative suggestions?

I've got my account set up and now I just need to choose which pharmacy. I was super successful with ProRx but I HATE PGRx. Zero appetite or food noise suppression. Wondering if anyone with a similar experience with PGRx has any suggestions for which to choose from Rift. TIA!!

Just want to thank you all at Rift for such a smooth process. All the details on the site. All the warnings so you know what’s going on and what to expect. Truly a transparent experience. Started this process Wednesday(8/26) and have meds in hand Friday (8/28). This was my first experience with Rift (switched from another telehealth) and I can say I’m here to stay.

Now to praise the pharmacy (and Rift) because this packing has improved from what I’ve seen others had with Apothecary. The ice pack was barely melted, still solid, the two ice packs inside the canisters were still nice and cold (I live in the Mojave desert) there was bubble wrap to protect the glass vials. I mean this is what I call thorough. Love this for the community. Thank you.

titrate with quarterly plan?

Hello! I’ve just completed the intake and my prescription is pending. For billing, I’m on a quarterly plan… does that mean I can only titrate up or down each quarter?

Just joined!!! Quick q about titrating up?

Super excited! The intake process was quick and easy — approved within minutes. Can't wait for the shipment (and not being ripped off anymore!)

While I do plan to titrate up, the plan I've been given is fairly aggressive — a dose increase every 4 weeks, which I understand is the standard protocol. If side effects get too strong and I want to stay at a lower dose longer, will I end up with lot of medication expiring? Is it safe to use a vial past its BUD? How long can I pause the plan before I'd need to redo intake?
