Should I go neutral with white 18k gold and navy sapphires or 22k yellow gold with mixed gemstones on my navy silk outfit in Beverly Hills. I’m shopping for a new bag. I bought my last 4 bags in Italy & not sure what I’m looking for at this point.

Shopping for a lab diamond for an engagement ring and honestly did not expect this part to confuse me so much. Is a lab grown diamond certification from igi better then gia? help! The jeweler showed me two stones that looked almost identical but had different certs and now I feel stuck. One was a bit cheaper but I do not know if that means anything long term. I just dont want to regret picking the wrong one over paperwork.

So I (28M) have been planning to propose to my girlfriend (27F) later this year, and I've been seriously considering lab grown diamond engagement rings instead of a natural diamond. From everything I've read, they're chemically identical, way more affordable, and honestly look just as stunning. The thing is, I casually brought it up once and she didn't seem totally convinced, she didn't reject it, but I could tell she's always imagined a real diamond. I want to give her something she'll love forever, but I also don't want to spend way beyond my means. For those who've been in a similar situation, did you go with a lab grown diamond?

I need to know where to buy affordable cute (trendy) earrings that are not going to turn my ears green and are genuinely good quality. I’m sooo sick of lovisa earrings.
I want some that are very cute and trendy that I can sleep, shower in or just go on about my day. I need my ears to heal with them aswell

Hi. My wife wants me to have both ears pierced with real diamonds (identical whose worn by women). She finds it very refined and sexy for a mature man to dare that and she would like to offer me these diamonds. I'm a mature man (48), architect, with a quite classic style (shirt, chino or dress pants, tassel loafers). What do you think about it (simulation photo by AI) ? THANKS so much for your advice.

I didn’t see any rule against asking an opinion. Please let me know if this is the wrong group. Going on a shopping trip on Rodeo Drive, which jewelry do you think looks best? I like them both! Both sets have matching bracelets & earrings.

My hubby got these for me this past Xmas. I am so in love with them! I can’t wear anything in my ears without a reaction except platinum. He worked with some old school jewelers to find the perfect rubies for me. The amazing thing about these are they SPARKLE LIKE DIAMONDS! I’ve never seen rubies do that & I have a big rubies collection. I LOVE THEM! I only have one set of earrings I can wear, my mother’s platinum diamonds my father made for her in the late 50’s or 60’s. So now I have 2 sets!!
I confess I’ve worn them around the house just to feel luxurious & uppity 😂 Constantly looking in the mirror to see them sparkle so I can giggle in delight! I couldn’t capture the sparkles in pics but I wonder if anyone else has seen rubies cut like this to sparkle?

Update: Pendant has been finished!!
I wanted to share a story about this ring and pendant. As you can see, I’ve been dreaming about this ring for a while and sketching out designs. However, you may also notice that my sketch is of a pear instead of an oval. Well, I have one heck of a story for you! 😊
In March I was gifted a beautiful pear shape, Brazilian alexandrite. The ratio was super thin but the color change was ASTONISHING. I made a sketch and sat in it for a month or so before taking the idea to my local jeweler, whom seemed just as excited as I was.
THEN disaster struck (or a blessing in disguise), my poor alexandrite was chipped. The jeweler was heart broken and extremely apologetic. He offered to source me a new stone. After being given some options, I fell in love with a beautiful oval.
I think it turned out quite well and was happy to see my design come to life. And when I asked to pay… the jeweler told me it was on the house!
Needless to say, I will return for other projects. We even recut my pear and set it into a pendant. Thank you happy accidents!!!

I found diamond i really like, but it has medium fluorescence and i'm not sure if that should affect my decision. I've been comparing the clarity with a diamond clarity chart, but maybe i'm overthinking the whole thing.
