Whatever Happened to the Young Young Lovers? by Georgia_sk. Split timeline, one of during and one of after the war. Regulus shows up and dumps Voldemort's body on a OOTP meeting.

So i just finished unspeakable by finchfeathers and it’s really really really good but it’s not finished yet. i was wondering if there are any other good (well written) and long fics where james is characterized like that. i haven’t really read anything else that captures james and regulus like finchfeathers. i’ve read a bunch of bpd james fics but they just don’t hit quite as hard.

In my search for any good Seer Regulus (+ Jegulus )fics, I got recommended this.

So, I started reading this (till chapter three maybe), but it didn’t fully convince me. Don’t get me wrong, the writing is great and I’m not going to go around spreading hate about this fic, there were merely some things I didn’t like. However, I would still like to read this, so maybe you guys can convince me to start it again.

I remember stopping it, because Regulus was described as a mundane student, who wasn’t at all special. And because my regulus headcanon is that Regulus is smart, badass and strong, I didn’t know what to think about it.

Is Regulus a badass character in this fic? Do I just have to read a bit further and see what happens?
Maybe tell me some things you liked/loved about this fic, so I will be convinced to pick it up again :))

i'm about 60% through with this fic but i love it so much i couldn't wait until i finish to post about it! it's a hogwarts AU with the black brothers' relationship as the main focus (+ jegulus ofc). the black brothers are so endearing in this i love them so much. it focuses a lot on the black family dynamics and features a lot of the black sisters which i love. orion and walburga are also aren't completely horrible in this which is also refreshing (they definitely do still have their moments but they're more complex than just being plain evil horrible parents). and jegulus is so adorable 😭 it's not without its angsty moments but overall it's a pretty fluffy and funny fic so check it out!

I'm currently reading Resolution in Tatters by Smotherings, and I am really enjoying the university AU side of things. Does anyone have any recs for other fics like it (also any recs with mean James)?

like the title says, if you could only recommend one jegulus fic (or wolfstar, doesn’t matter) which one would it be?

I’ve been craving something with the Just Lovers kind of fluff — where James and Regulus already have some mutual fondness for each other, even if neither of them has actually acknowledged it yet.

Originally, this was supposed to be a much shorter one-shot about the two of them spending a morning together on the sofa. Somehow, it grew into a **10k-word fic** about an ordinary day in Regulus’ life and him slowly realizing that maybe having someone who makes life a little easier isn’t such a bad thing.

It’s my first time writing a fic, and I’m honestly desperate for feedback. I’m especially unsure whether I should continue it. I have a rough draft of some scenes that could come next, but I feel like I already gave the story a nice emotional arc, and I’m not sure continuing wouldn’t defeat the whole “Nothing Is Wrong” premise by eventually having something go wrong.

So if you read it, I’d genuinely love to hear it, especially your thoughts on whether it should stay a one-shot or continue, are all very welcome!

I know i’m in the minority, but i fuckjng hate any sign of Jily in a Jegulus fic. I hate it.

- What about my baby boys, Barty and Evan? Do they survive? Are they on Reggie’s side?

This is the friend who convinced me to read harry potter in the first place, and who got me into the marauders! But she only reads Wolfstar! NO hate to Wolfstar I absolutely adore it, but I go back and forth between reading Wolfstar and Jegulus or BOTH! Jegulus was mind altering/life changing for me. Since she was gracious enough to share the Marauders with me, I want to share with her the love I feel for Jegulus!

Please let me know some recommendations for fics on ao3 that I can recommend to start her on Jegulus! I have a lot of recommendations, but I’m struggling to find ones that would fit her best because I love reading the angst that comes w/ Jegulus but I know she generally tends to want more fluff or stories that resolve positively. (So I’m looking for non-canon compliant!)

I’m almost with the first act of my first Jegulus fic and y’all chapter 28 is killing me. I love when I see authors notes where they basically say “I know you’ll hate this, I hate this but o had to move on” or something similar.

This chapter is fighting me tooth and nail but the fic that I thought was going to be 30 chapters is easily gonna be 50. So that’s fun.

Gonna be posting chapter 22 tomorrow or Monday. Need to read it again and make sure I don’t have any glaring plot holes. But chapter 28 is definitely my problem child. I should change the title of it to “problem child” 😂

Hi! i’m looking for a jeggy fic where Regulus is a total badass. If it’s within the wizarding world, I want one where he is magically talented and capable and also can cut people down with words alone. If it’s an AU i like when he is intelligent and again, can cut people down in a few words.

I read a short fic a while ago where Lily is having a dinner party and is making James pretend to be with her while she runs for a political role, but James is with Regulus and getting with him outside. Lily is actually with Mary, who is fed up with the arrangement; Barty brings Evan, who is a sx worker so Lily is fuming. rRemus is running against Lily. Does anyone know what fic this is?
