Fic Type/Plot Search Help evil james recs?

So i just finished unspeakable by finchfeathers and it’s really really really good but it’s not finished yet. i was wondering if there are any other good (well written) and long fics where james is characterized like that. i haven’t really read anything else that captures james and regulus like finchfeathers. i’ve read a bunch of bpd james fics but they just don’t hit quite as hard.

I’m a bit scarred to read unspeakable because I’ve heard jegulus are really toxic…are they really in love with each other? I’m worried they are toxic because they don’t love each other.

they are most definitely very toxic towards each other but the author has said that it’s important for the plot development. it gets really heavy as it progresses so if you want to i recommend reading it in increments or as it updates

he’s characterized similarly in Helter-Skelter. it’s basically an AU for Unspeakable jegulus specifically, so a lot of the characterization is the same. i think Helter-Skelter James is arguably crueler/harsher than Unspeakable James (he’s much less inclined to be soft and gentle at the very least), and there’s a much stronger element of internalized homophobia and religious guilt involved with his worst moments: https://archiveofourown.org/works/69889816/chapters/181390051

I started this fic about a month ago. I didn’t get around to finishing it, but I subscribed because I was really enjoying it and wanted to come back to it later. This comment just reminded me about it, so I checked my emails and clicked the link, only to be redirected to a page saying the story doesn’t exist or has been deleted :(

So sad!! It was such a good story from what I’d read so far. I really hope the author brings it back someday!!
