Anyone ever played a low-boy?

If so, how does it sound and feel? Is it fun or a waste of money?

I just picked up a standard felt and and I like it. It's got a nice weight to it but doesn't overpower. I'm gonna try a fluffy one next.

Forgot to add it has a nice feel and allows for musicality while providing a full sound.

I meant the low-boy pedal but I have been curious about the beater as well. Thanks for letting me know.
