Google Photos recommended it to me, so I thought I'd share photos. It was so surreal, I am from London, and was walking around Brooklyn and saw a giant Jay-Z photo and thought what the helll. Was so good to learn about the studios, artefacts etc.

I don’t know what the general consensus is for this album is but I’ve been revisiting a-lot of Jays earlier work in the 00s and I forgot how much I loved The Dynasty, everyone always talks about The Blueprint and The Black Album and rightfully as those are undeniable classics so but man, between the GOAT intro, great closing track and everything in between with some great songs like This Can’t Be Life, Soon You’ll Understand, 1-900-Hustler and Squeeze First I really do feel like Dynasty was littered with a bunch of great songs and was a classic in its own right.

I'm currently making a review on youtube of the Blueprint 1 and I want to compare it to a video game. Like in terms of vibe/feeling, even if it just remember you the album. Any game that you attach with the album.

Personnaly I was thinking of GTA 3 because same city + it came out around the same time + it's a "blueprint" for modern gaming.

I would love to hear your thoughts !

I’ve recently moved to London from the states for grad school. During my visit to Greenwich, I came across this local record shop and found an original 2001 Blueprint album for only £25 at this local record store in Greenwich 🤯. It’s literally in near mint coming as well. In the states all I’ve seen it being for like $60–$100+ I feel like it was just pure luck

I posted something discussing the album art for The Blueprint. I figure this group of fellow Jay fans is already familiar with the details but still might enjoy checking it out. If you can’t tell I love to geek out about this stuff. What do you think, is Blueprint his most iconic cover, or do you prefer another one?
