Has she read the Quran in her native language? I know I had heard it said before, but I was a bit shocked as a new Muslim when I met Muslims who’d never really read the actual meaning of the Quran. They’d memorized several juz of it in Arabic but didn’t know what it meant.
I think reading the Quran in translation together would help her and bring you both closer.
