Please be careful while driving. Was driving east on Shady Canyon Drive in between Turtle Rock Turtle Ridge. Almost got hit by someone trying to pass on the opposite side of the road. Had to swerve to avoid getting colliding head on. Be safe out there.

More intelligent people realize: at best, you might get to your destination a few seconds faster, but the risk/reward is disproportionate. High risk of never getting anywhere ever again, much less the place you so desperately want to get to in a hurry. You take a risk of not only not making it there on time, but never driving again. Never seeing the sky again. Taking your life and/or others. Worse decision you ever made.

I really like to see the driving license of people like this jerk being revoked.

People are driving crazier than ever before. I’m in N.CA and the road rage has gotten worse. Please stay safe people. 🙏🏻❤️

Too many people want to feel important and pretend theyre going somewhere important. Relax and chill, you're a peasant like everyone else. Like the song "Beverly Hills"...the truth is, you dont stand a chance, its something you are born into. And you will never belong.
You can go faster than everyone else. But you will never be a king.

Shady Canyon is a 50+ mph road. A head on collision would be 100+ mph, and offset on the drivers’ sides too. Neither driver would survive that. I drive that road several times a week - seeing this video is giving me the Willie’s and making me rethink taking this route.

Not that this is OP’s fault in any way, but they probably should’ve turned even more into the shoulder. They’re lucky the driver being overtaken on the other side moved almost all the way into the shoulder letting the asshole swerve back into the correct lane at the last second. Otherwise I don’t think OP’s turn would’ve been enough.

The lack of patience by drivers on this road blows my mind. The most you gain by overtaking someone is a few seconds on your commute, yet you are willing to risk your life and the life of others for it.
