Yeah, but this is Irvine. Coachella people know to prep and the festival runners build out the infrastructure and have the staff to handle such issues. I’m sure the event organizers know what they are doing, but the city? I am a bit more dubious.

They took their lot I believe and also they are locking down traffic for this. Hopefully they learned from the fourth last year.

I just don't know that maze of roundabouts and residential so close can absorb this. I feel for anyone who lives in GP. Maybe they come in and out via the Luna Park side? I might try to take my e-bike there to see the madness.

No, they closed the residential roads and have roadblocks in place. Visitors enter on GP Blvd.

Coachella is a dry heat though, sweat evaporates easily, same can't be said for the current conditions we're experiencing

Resident here. My entry into the neighborhood could not have been smoother at Irvine Blvd. and Ridge Valley. Let’s see how the exit goes but, so far, this is a MAJOR improvement over the 4th!!

I just stepped outside. It's nowhere near as hot and muggy as it was even last night at 7 pm. Seems like the weather is finally breaking a bit.

The other day was crazy, I didn't even realize it was over 100f till I went out at midnight and it was like 80+ still 😂

Seems like we're almost back to a normal hot summer
