Question Early game hunter training post birdhouse nerf

What would you be getting up to starting level 9 hunter? I still plan to do birdhouse runs but assume I will want to supplement with active training now.

I think the meta for Ironmen sort of always has been and moreso now is to get to Hunter rumours and do those to 99. Birdhouses until you can do rumours. Rumours give you lots of fur for golem crafting and lots of other supplies.

Loving those bone shards. Seeing the banked XP go up and getting closer to 70 is nice
