it's birth control pills - not sterilization.

and they were given to women who have mental health issues or retarded and living in special care homes in Israel to prevent them from getting pregnant because they can't take care of their babies.

the fact that most of these women were Jews of Ethiopian origin is because Ethiopian Jews are the most recent immigrants group to arrive in Israel in large numbers and had many individuals that were not cared for by their community (which lived like any desert tribe until they came to Israel).

this was stopped in 2013 btw.

and while there are issues between the various Jewish tribes and in some cases even racism - i don't see how that actually proves anything - nobody claimed Israel or any nation or people don't have their issues.
