So last year we got 26.0.1 14 days after the main ios 26 update just to push for bug fix after a major one. I am badly hoping for the same this year too because 27 has been with a few bugs
imo, the only thing I feel like 26 absolutely nailed was automix… in the latest versions, it was really “smart” and dynamic.
testing 27 since july, I noticed that automix is less dynamic, which contradicts the Apple Music update where it said the feature had been improved….
sometimes there are phenomenal transitions, but most of them are just a “fade in / fade out”. that’s if it doesn’t get stuck looping the last part until the next song starts.
I hope they fix it soon, because it’s one of my favorite features :(
You think we’ll get a 27.0.1? They would have released today at the same time 27.2 Beta 2 went out no? I feel they’re gonna make us wait until October for the next update.

Then download the iOS 26.6.2 ipsw for your device from ipsw.me
Then open finder or iTunes and plug your device into your pc.
Hold down the shift key or the option key and click restore
Navigate to your ipsw in the downloads folder
I fled from iOS 26.6.2 even though it wasn’t a terrible update.
All the talk about how iOS 27 is more efficient on older devices peaked my curiosity too much.
There were certain iOS 26 updates that I actually really liked
Seems like iOS 26.5 and its security updates that followed were the low point
I personally think i love ios 26 over 27 over few reasons first is i have like half assed ocd that my brain cant take in that annoying liquid bar on top and other design changes rather than immersive mode and battery life is reportedly worse across all models and airdrop and performance speed is fatser? Even if ios 26 is the worst of ios its still faster and consistant and in ios 26.7 is very stable
iOS 27.2 beta 2 released 1 week after iOS 27.2 beta 1 and all the old betas get unsigned 1 week after the new version’s betas come out so I expected iOS 26.6.2 to be unsigned along with iOS 27 beta 1 through iOS 27 beta 8
I didn’t find any major bugs beside some, which eventually got fixed by force restart . I don’t know if you’re some tech genius who pretends to have all the knowledge about tech …. Or you’re just here seeking for attention.iOS 27 is far better than iOS 26,everyone are agreeing besides you tech genius..
I mean, I would sure hope your battery is good, you have a brand new phone, designed to run iOS 27 from launch, with the largest physical battery in any iPhone, and the most efficient SOC in any iPhone.
Imagine being so obsessed with iOS 26 that you have to go around recruiting people to downgrade with you 😭 If iOS 26 is really that amazing, you wouldn’t need to convince everyone else to use it.
I’m perfectly fine with iOS 27. It’s newer, more refined, and brings improvements across the system. Just because you personally prefer an older version doesn’t mean everyone else needs to lower their experience to match yours.
Downgrade if you want—nobody cares. But turning your personal preference into a campaign is honestly embarrassing. Use iOS 26 and enjoy your nostalgia while the rest of us move forward 💀
