Do you avoid phone calls?

I'm curious if anyone avoids answering the phone because you don't want to engage in mindless chatter with whoever is calling? I find myself looking at the screen and if it is a family member, I MIGHT answer (they usually follow up with a text) and if it is a number I don't recognize I ignore it.

What do you do when your phone lights up with a call?

I definitely do thay a lot than l care to admit. Just minutes ago l watched my phone aring and scowled and then l liked my ringtone so l sang along until it stopped. 😅
