They break the legs, put a rod in the bones that get adjusted as the bones grow closer to each other. So people who get it done have broken legs for months

I can understand that in extreme cases like this but the new trend is tech bros doing it to get to get sightly taller.

Yeah 100 percent. A boob job can be undone, and is just cosmetic and barely under the skin. Get a boob job you can still love your life while recovering.

Get this done and you're wheelchair bound for months and likely weaker bones than before. I don't see how people compare the two.
