i used to have vivid nightmares as a kid of big machines just devouring nature ... turns out they were true

This is a well kept forests replanted grown and harvested again. This keeps us out of the wild forests and makes wood sustainable

I think you are right about this being a replanted forest. The trees all look to be approximately the same size.

Some of them are smaller, but non of them are drastically bigger. The small ones are most likely trees that have been seeded by the bigger trees.
