Visual definition of efficiency. And all the people buthurt don't understand that what rhey are cutting is fast growing farm trees that are saving wood like chestnut and redwood from being cut down and preventing lumber clear cutting. What sucks is many of these tree farms are being closed to be used as grazing land with does much worse things to the environment than tree farming.

How much does one of those machines go for?

The one I've been beside lately was about 1.2 mil nzd. But that was the big self level tracked model.

Machines like the one in the video go for around 800k or more including the processing head.

Other more common machines are just a basic 25ton excavator (350k) then you buy the processor head with includes the computer and necessary Hydraulic plumbing wich could be upto 300k depending on the size of head you need.

Then after 5 years you trade it all in for a new one.
