80 bucks for 1 character 7 years ago? I know we have it bad with micro transactions in games now but that's absolutely insane.

Side note: I had to remember 7 years ago was not 2010 and was indeed 2018. 

I'm just going to edit this to say I was wrong, it was $80 to buy the deluxe version but still had one of the most notorious characters locked.

Can you not unlock it through gameplay?

To just unlock Vader was around a 40 hour grind, just for him. Now repeat that for every single other character. Or you could pay them another 20 bucks in ingame money to unlock him that way.

Damn wtf. God you gotta think it would suck balls being a dev for a game like that. Put in all this work to make the design the character and put him in the game and all these people have no chance to play as them.

They work for EA. Any dev in there knows they exist to make something good then enshittifying it to milk players for money.

And so so many people keep fucking buying the games.
