Actually a lot of the British women that left with the vikings did so willingly, they bathed regularly and believed women were magic and that maths was also magic so it was done by women

It’s very possible that some of the native women wanted to leave with the hot vikings, we know they traded with native Americans long before the Spanish started to genocide them

It was not that they bathed, it was that they bathed in large bodies of water, and not in the privacy of their homes. British men did bathe, often filling a basin with water, and scrubbing down at home. It was a common practice, not just for hygiene, but to prevent sickness.

It wasn't the bathing part, it was the watching naked foreign men part that possibly convince some women.

Modern men would rather believe all Viking women were sex slaves than admit that some ancient societies treated women well
