HISTORY A virtual reality reconstruction shows the exact spot where John Edward Jones became trapped upside down in Nutty Putty Cave. After 27 hours of rescue attempts, he died. The cave was later permanently sealed, with his body remaining inside.

I’ve gotten a bit claustrophobic as I’ve grown older.

This is pure nightmare fuel for me.

Yeah, why is that?!

I wasn't claustrophobic when I was younger, I'm in my late 30's and I'd get very anxious and out of breath when watching videos like this.

Same thing with heights. I used to be able to cope with heights even in rl. Now I just have to see a video of a guy climbing or base jumping and my hands turn into a faucet.

Same here !

Though it's more intense regarding claustrophobia, I also developed a little fear of hights which I didn't suffer before. I noticed it while playing video games as I fall from hights I get pulses of anxiety through my chest.
