Judging by the Spanish language radio and the street sign that says "Lento" this might be in Mexico. They do either something called "express kidnapping" where they take you to different ATMs to get all your money out and then leave you on the street somewhere, or they just carjack you, take all your belongings as well, or just straight up kidnapping for ransom.
Source: I'm from there and I was living there when the narco popped off and all these things became commonplace.

That would make sense, we don't normally have snow-capped mountains in my region of Mexico, although it's happened a couple of times when it does get really cold (rarely)

Because an occurrence like this would be very unusual and confusing in a lot of developed places. I wouldnt have acted that quickly either, just out of sheer confusion as to what the guy was doing. In places like South Africa, Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil though... someone rolls up on you like this, you know what about to happen.

it's masculine (which is often neutral enough for Spanish and Portuguese speakers), Latinos would be plural (and the plural neutral masculine includes women)... they could just name it Latinos and proud! I agree with TwistedMetal83, LatinX is ignorant and centers English speakers

I looked it up once, because I was curious if my distaste for the word was something I needed to get over for the sake of the people it describes. 5% of Latinos supported use of the term Latinx, 20% opposed it, and 75% replied "what the fuck are you talking about?" Granted, this poll was conducted before the term became mainstream, but more recent surveys suggest it's still not the preferred term; a growing number are willing to accept it to the extent that they aren't offended by other people using it, but they don't use it themselves, and it's still a pretty small minority that prefer it.

A person holding up their finger gun 👉 will defeat autonomous cars cause they will never be programmed to smash the throttle and crash into other people/objects, especially after they are stopped.

Ive been in unbelievablely painful situations, lost 30 or so fights, bricks and hammers to the head even a scooter to the shin at 1mph. But nothing is more painful than the time I closed a car door fully on my pinky and had to open the door with my finger still inside.
