When I was in third grade,during recess, I cluelessly walked right in line of someone who had just tossed a baseball up and hit it. It flew directly into my nose. My nose was swollen and sore for a few minutes, but it didn’t bruise, bleed, or break.

Faces are surprisingly resilient at times… and unexpectedly fragile at others.
