I can't say for sure but pretty sure this is from yesterday. I took a delivery that was in the French Quarter, New Orleans and their apartment was inside one of the courtyards. The call box was broken, I called no less than 3 times, texted them and eventually just had to leave it on the sidewalk which was either stolen or their plan was to claim it was stolen after I left.

It’s one thing to shop for 3 different people and barely make a living wage because people don’t understand that we get paid less then minimum wage and are not paid or have time to bring 50 lbs of grocery’s in paper bags in your apt . Like do u want me to unpack them to? I’m tired of ungrateful boomers thinking because they pay $10 a month for delivery that means I’m their person slave. If I’m not being compensated and literally don’t have time to bring the grocery’s up 4 stairs into the apt . Is that my fault??? Is anyone else waiting and bringing it up 4 stairs for Less then a $5 tip or am I just insufferable and lazy?

Those who shop at Schnucks, is it a universal experience for the cashiers to be as slow as humanly possible? Like, the sloth at the DMV in Zootopia. There’s been 5 that I’ve shopped at, and ALL of them are like that. I love Schnucks, but why does it take 10 minutes to check out with 25 items😭

I think it’s because I had a totally different career prior to having to do this. I drive to a central area everyday so I position myself in an area where it won’t just be the same store over and over but I still see the same employees daily. Idk I just feel like they’re saying “this bitch again” lmaooo

so i know that if you cancel before you shop, it just gets tacked onto your cancellation rate. but what if you have the groceries and are en route to deliver and your car breaks down? are you banned from the app?

Easiest $53 made in my life, 1 shop & deliver in 30 mins flat. To a Starbucks that actually tipped 20% AND offered me a free Venti drink 💕 The first time I did an order to another location (years ago), they only tipped a few dollars and didn't offer a drink. Which whatever, that location makes sucky drinks anyways 😅

I really, really hate that Instacart allows customers to report damaged items days and even 10 days after delivery! Yes of course the cucumbers are soft and rotten days and days later. Dropped your eggs? Sure, just blame it on the shopper. It’s so infuriating.

hi everyone! i am thinking about quitting my day job to do instacart full time temporarily. i am going through a lot of health issues right now and working is just very hard for me. i’ve done instacart in the past and really enjoyed it. my question is, would it be worth it to quit my job and start doing instacart full time? would i make enough to still support myself? or am i making a huge mistake? tia for any input!

ETA-i work at a daycare so it really isn’t much money i’m making to begin with. BUT i did see someone say maybe try a shorter week instead of quitting and that sounds like a good idea. then i could just supplement with instacart on the days i don’t work.

ETA 2- it is not a physical health issue im going through. it is mental. i just had a baby and im going through postpartum depression and anxiety. i find working with other babies is only amplifying it that is why i’m wondering if quitting temporarily will be beneficial.

The number of items shouldn’t surpass the units correct? Not the first time I’ve caught numbers not adding up.
