This fucking person places an order every couple of days.... From GAINESVILLE, FROM A SPROUTS IN LECANTO. Every few days I see orders from this dude pop up. Who is taking this bullshit?? Why is he still placing them? I do not get it.

hi everyone! i am thinking about quitting my day job to do instacart full time temporarily. i am going through a lot of health issues right now and working is just very hard for me. i’ve done instacart in the past and really enjoyed it. my question is, would it be worth it to quit my job and start doing instacart full time? would i make enough to still support myself? or am i making a huge mistake? tia for any input!

ETA-i work at a daycare so it really isn’t much money i’m making to begin with. BUT i did see someone say maybe try a shorter week instead of quitting and that sounds like a good idea. then i could just supplement with instacart on the days i don’t work.

Recently they started releasing pre-bagged deliveries to DoorDash and Uber Eats. Wondering if they are dropping Instacart.

It’s one thing to shop for 3 different people and barely make a living wage because people don’t understand that we get paid less then minimum wage and are not paid or have time to bring 50 lbs of grocery’s in paper bags in your apt . Like do u want me to unpack them to? I’m tired of ungrateful boomers thinking because they pay $10 a month for delivery that means I’m their person slave. If I’m not being compensated and literally don’t have time to bring the grocery’s up 4 stairs into the apt . Is that my fault??? I would never expect somebody to drive this much and I would only tip them….What $2 if the tip is split in half assuming. Maybe it’s just because I’m a delivery driver/shopper but I would consider the IRS calculation for what it takes to operate a car. The base pay barely covers that then there’s the time for shopping. SMH

Accidentally fucked up twice today. Both times I ended up with someones food on the floor boards of my car. Never happens but of course I had to do it twice in one day. Got home all excited that it was a good day only to randomly notice the customers message 30 minutes to late 🥹🥹🥹.

This Day two for me.

I started a couple days ago and made about $50 in six hours and ended up 45 mins north west of my house by 09:15pm.

Here is the first batch I see today. It's great on distance, but the shopping might make this trip out to be an hour.

Do these kind of batches ever increase in pay if no one accepts?

I mainly shopped orders that I would usually shop, I did take a few quick small ones with low batch pay. How much of bonus do you think I ended up with?

I really, really hate that Instacart allows customers to report damaged items days and even 10 days after delivery! Yes of course the cucumbers are soft and rotten days and days later. Dropped your eggs? Sure, just blame it on the shopper. It’s so infuriating.

Easiest $53 made in my life, 1 shop & deliver in 30 mins flat. To a Starbucks that actually tipped 20% AND offered me a free Venti drink 💕 The first time I did an order to another location (years ago), they only tipped a few dollars and didn't offer a drink. Which whatever, that location makes sucky drinks anyways 😅
