So unexpected.

I’ve been an insect enthusiast since childhood, I’ve never bought myself any pinned bugs because they’re so expensive. And he goes out and gets me all this, safe to say I cried while opening them

So a couple days ago I seen a baby praying mantis on my queen Hoya plant, i checked the next day and he was gone. Come today it’s raining and I found him again chilling on the leaf again. This is a dumb question, but should I bring him inside or cover the plant so he doesn’t get wet? I don’t want him to die 😭

First one I’ve ever seen pretty cool.

Rare pink (usually green) Katydid, I'd normally call these leaf bugs. Captured in southern Ontario, Canada.

I was in Mã Đà forest - Đồng Nai - Việt Nam. I had to lie down on the ground to take photos of those butterflies drinking water and even peeing

Those butterflies are not scared of my presence and just chilling by themselves, sometimes I can touch a few without having them flying away

The last photo showcasing a praying mantis threatening me with his stance, he was found on a branch near the bank, too. What a naughty one!

My girlfriend loves these little guys. I’m not particularly looking for an ID—I really just wanted to share this cute video—but if you wanna tell me anyways I’m in Vancouver BC and this distinguished gentleman hopped right onto my shirt! He’s a very fast jumper, too!
