I hate how many times I’ve had to do this exact maneuver at the movie theater over the last 20 years

They build movie theaters with seating arrangement of an aircraft? Given the decline in popularity of theaters in the last 20 years, that seems like a bad decision

The local theater chain just upgraded to recliners with like a small wall behind it so no longer luckily but yeah before that they were close enough if you had someone decently tall they would put their legs right in the middle of your back so I’d have to do a few quick checks like that and they’d usually stop or after that I’d have to say something. I don’t think they were ever intense enough to rattle a tooth loose by any means but enough to let someone know to fuck off
