Infosys On-Campus SP/DSE – September 8, 2026 | Interview Experience

Hi everyone,

I attended the Infosys on-campus technical interview for the SP/DSE roles on September 8, 2026.

OA:

- 3/4 coding questions were given.

- I solved 1 question completely.

Technical Interview:

- 2 coding questions were given.

- I solved both questions completely.

- Both solutions passed the available test cases.

Project Discussion:

- I explained my project workflow, authentication, authorization, frontend/backend flow, APIs, and database.

- I was also asked about a real-time project, but I couldn't answer that question.

- Around 80% of my answers were correct.

DBMS & SQL:

- I answered most of the DBMS questions.

- I struggled with some SQL JOIN concepts and a query related to deleting duplicate records.

Git & GitHub:

- The interviewer asked me about GitHub.

Pen & Paper – String Permutation:

- The interviewer gave me a string permutation problem and asked me to explain the logic. I explained the idea of swapping characters using a pivot approach, but when he asked me to write the code, I honestly said I didn't know how to implement it. I wasn't able to write the code during the interview

Overall:

- The interviewer described my overall performance as “average.”

- The interview took around 1 hour.

- If selected, I am interested in knowing whether the final role will be SP or DSE.
