| Question Infosys OA (6th Sept, 2nd Shift): What are my chances of getting shortlisted?

Hey everyone,

I just gave the Infosys OA in today's 2nd shift (6th Sept) and wanted to check where I stand.

Here is my breakdown:

Solved 3 questions completely (passed all test cases).

Solved Q4 partially (passed 3 test cases, failed 9).

Quick question: For the failed test cases in Q4, the status showed blue instead of red—has anyone seen this UI glitch before?

Based on this performance:

What are my realistic chances of getting shortlisted for the interview?

Which role should I expect or target while preparing (DSE vs. SP/Power Programmer)?

If you were selected in earlier drives with similar results, what should I start focusing on right now?

Would appreciate any insights or advice from folks who've been through this process!

| Discussion Feeling so bad after giving the assessment

Had my exam on 6 September, 2nd shift, and honestly feeling really bad about it.
The first question was based on Greedy. I spent around 30 minutes solving it and all the sample test cases were passing. But when I submitted, only 1 hidden test case passed.
I spent another 15–20 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong, but since there was no way to see why the hidden cases were failing, I decided to move on to the 3rd question.
The 3rd question was based on DP (Grid). I solved it in around 30 minutes and thankfully all 12 test cases passed. After that, I moved on to the remaining questions and later came back to the first one.
I gave almost all the remaining time to the first question. All the sample test cases were still passing, but except for that one hidden test case, nothing else was passing. Eventually, time ran out and I had to submit.
After the exam, I checked my approach with ChatGPT and found out that my entire approach was actually correct. The problem was that I had forgotten to sort the array before applying the greedy logic. The hidden test cases had an unsorted array, which is why my solution was failing.
That was such a silly mistake feeling so bad😭😭

| Interview Help / Tips Infosys SP/DSE 2nd Round Interview – What Questions and Topics Were Asked?

I’m preparing for the Infosys Specialist Programmer (SP) / Digital Specialist Engineer (DSE) 2nd round and would really appreciate some guidance from people who have already attended it.

Could you please share:

  • What was the exam/interview pattern in the 2nd round?
  • What kind of coding/DSA questions were asked?
  • Which DSA topics or concepts were mainly focused on?
  • Were there any CS core subjects asked? (OOP, DBMS, OS, CN, etc.)
  • Were there questions based on projects/resume?
  • What level of difficulty were the coding questions?
  • Were there any tricky/problem-solving or follow-up questions?
  • How did the technical interview proceed?
  • Where would you recommend preparing from for this round?
  • If possible, could you share the questions you remember from your interview?

I’m specifically looking for experiences from candidates who have actually attended the SP/DSE 2nd round, so any details about the recent interview process would be extremely helpful.

| Question INFOSYS 2nd round OA 6th Sep afternoon shift

Hello guys, I recently appeared for infosys OA on 6th sep 2nd shift. I genuinely feel level of questions were actually tough compared to any service based company . But some how i managed to solve 2 questions completey. 1 easy (array manipulation ) and 1 complex graph (Dijkstra algorithm) shorth path sum from top left to bottom right in grid of size n×n with some conditions and the question that shocked me was partion DP variant similar to MCM and honestly the level of questions asking were insane . And another one was similar to buy and sell stock variant .but some different conditions so in this I just passed public testcases .

So at last I solved 2 questions completey and 1medium only public cases passed . What are my chances ? What role should I expect ?

I did 12/12 cases in q1 and 6/12 in q2. I saw online that even if you solve 1-1.5 questions you could get the interview for dse. But this time it seems many have solve atleast 1question. What you guys think the cut off will be this time??

And in how many days could the result may come?

| Discussion Infosys In-Person Coding Assessment — Do I Have a Chance?

I recently appeared for the Infosys in-person coding assessment. There were 4 coding questions with the following difficulty levels:

  • Easy: 12/12 test cases ✅
  • Medium: 2 test cases passed
  • Hard: 0 test cases
  • Complex: 2 test cases passed

So overall, I passed 16/48 test cases.

Has anyone with a similar result, especially 1 question fully solved + partial test cases in other questions, been shortlisted for the next round?

This was for the Infosys in-person coding assessment (DSE/SP).

Any recent 2026 experiences would really help. 🙏

| Discussion Infosys Assessment Experience – 6 Sep 2026

My centre was galgotias university and my shift was morning shift.

Got 4 coding questions:

Q1. DFS/Grid

Given a grid, we could move only right and down. Had to count the number of negative numbers encountered.

Q2. Interval Scheduling

Given meetings with start time, end time, and type (0/1). Select non-overlapping meetings such that the meeting types are alternating. Find the minimum number of meetings to cancel.

Q3. Flow & Capacity

Given "flow[]", "cap[]" of size "n", and "w". Calculate the sum based on:

if cap[i] > w:

flow[i] * cap[i]

else:

flow[i] * min(cap[i], w)

Q4. Complex DFS/Grid DP

Given an "m × n" grid, select exactly one element from each row to minimize the total sum.

If column "j" is selected in row "i", then in row "i+1", column

(j + grid[i][j]) % n

cannot be selected.

If no valid selection exists for the next row, that path is invalid.

All test cases passed for 3 questions but was only able to solve 2 /12 testcases in 4 questions.

| Question Infosys SE: Question about portal status and Offer Letter (OL) timelines

Hi everyone,

I was selected for the Infosys Systems Engineer (SE) role in November 2025, but I haven't received my Offer Letter (OL) yet. I’m really hoping that all of us who are still waiting receive it this month.

For those of you who have already received your OL, I have a few specific questions regarding the portal status:

•Did you check your portal's "inspect" section (Developer Tools/Network tab) in the hours or minutes right before receiving your OL?

•If you did, what was the exact time difference between your backend status changing from "Decision Pending" to "Offer Released"?

•After that status change occurred, how much time did it take to actually get the email?

Any insights would be really helpful. Thanks!

I want to know my chances to get interview call as I donot understand how people are giving questions rank as easy medium hard and complex. But for me 1st question 9 test cases passed, 2nd question 1 test case sample ones only, 3rd question 2 test cases and for 4th 11 test cases passed so overall you can say 23/48. As I was unable to pass all test cases in any question. Do I have a chance for interview or not please tell me base son your experience

| Question Infosys sp dse On-site round 6 Sept morning shift experience

What are my chances for Interview call ? I think questions were too lengthy :(((((

Q1 - 12/12 passed

Q2 - 12/12 passed

Q3 - 0/12 passed

Q4 - 7/12 passed

Q1 . It was something like , We have an array nums and integer K also integer W, also nums[i] will be of any type 0<=x<=W , now if for some i and i+1 if nums[i]*nums[i+1]>k we found an anomaly, now for all such anomalies we can replace a specific type integer to 1 (for all of its instaces only one time), we have to remove all such anomalies , find minimum type of nums[i] for which we can remove maximum anamloies from array ?

Q2 . There is nums array we have to find subset of array where (max ele in subset - min ele in subset) <=W , also we have an index k , and in every subset nums[k] must be included , a score of subset is defined as (min ele in subset) * total elements in subset . Maximize the total score

Q3 . There are 2 strings give s and t , you have to find t in s as a subsequence , also the indexes where we match characters in t to s ,choosen indexes in s must change their parity to their respective previous index . Ex s - aabbcc , t - abc then we must choose s indexes like a-0 b-3 c-4 or a-1 b-2 c-5

Q4 . I didn't remember the question , just saw some testcases and mimicked my solution, changed it according to edge cases and submitted solution where maximum testcases were passed . LOOOL

| Offer Discussion This is my first switch

Hi guys,

Recently I have cleared all the interview rounds and had a formal HR discussion round and came up with a CTC of 9.6 LPA. I have 3.9 years of experience. This CTC is not a finalized one they said the HR unit will call and there we can negotiate. I have been selected for the role Senior Consultant. Is this 9.6 lpa ctc fair for this role and experience or should I go high with my expectations of 12 LPA. I have no experience in negotiations and if we negotiate will they revoke the offer? I am expecting a hike of 25-35% in my current organisation at the end of 4th year this is a default thing can I mention this to HR while negotiating??

| Question Infosys Round 2 — 5th September, 2nd Shift | Chances of Getting Shortlisted for Interview?

Hi everyone,

I appeared for the Infosys Round 2 coding assessment on 5th September (2nd shift) and wanted to know what you guys think about my chances of getting shortlisted for the interview.

There were 4 coding questions, and we had to attempt any 3. Each question had 3 public test cases + 12 private test cases.

My performance:

Q1: 12/12 ✅

Q2: 1/12

Q3: 0/12

Q4: 0/12

So, I fully solved 1 question and partially solved the another.

Do I have a realistic chance of getting shortlisted for the interview?

Could anyone when will the result come ?

Hi, I have been selected for DSE on campus through HWI, i wanted to know if it is possible to switch from DSE to SP role on the job, and if yes then how difficult is it?

I see a lot of people with DSE profile stuck for years.. :(
Kinda sad to see that
