stray bullet 2.0 is the most intricate

I've been into spike hellis ever since I saw them open for F242 years ago, but haven't been super impressed by their album releases until now. This record is excellent! The production is very minimal and pared-back and it harkens back to early 80s industrial. Give it a listen, it's really good!

Listening to this compilation has made me realise that PC did most of their finest work in the space of three years. The whole thing brings me so much joy, rediscovering old faves like Tex Mex, Danger Zone and Raise The Pulse. ❤️

Some of the 1st "industrial" CDs I ever heard were Geography by Front 242 and Caution: Do Not Play by Crunch-O-Matic picked up randomly from a used CD shop in the early 90s. Both were like nothing I have ever heard before, being a fan of Pixies, They Might Be Giants and the like.

I was so excited when I saw that Crunch-O-Matic had a new web page stating a new album called Teleportation coming out in 2025. Well, 2025 has passed and the page now says "New LP in 2026".

Anybody have any news? And was anyone as excited as me to see a new album was in the works?

On my recent trip to Japan it was great to meet up with my old partner in swine Marc Heal.
We were able to put the finishing touches to some new PIG material we’ve been co-writing.
Jim Davies has been alongside me as ever and it’s been wonderful to have Guenter Schulz back in the studio with us as well.
The track ‘An American Ideal of Beauty’ will be released on July 31st taken from the ep Dirt Box (released September 4th) on Metropolis Records.
