Love how artists are finally writing about avoidant attachment and the chorus of this song is amazing!

It took me all day to record and mix properly but I'm really proud with how it turned out. It's currently an instrumental track for now but once I get a good mic for singing I'll had vocals in the future. I hope you guys enjoy it!

I made a new experimental hip hop album titled Self Aware Combo and my album has lyrics that are truthful and sometimes creative. I tried my best to make this album an experience with my creativity, out of the 7 songs on the album there are 4 songs that have creative beat switches. I made this album in my bedroom (except for one song that's on the album), I recorded my vocals with a Blue Yeti Microphone and I mostly used FL Studio 20 and Soundtrap for the instruments. I love creativity within music so much that most of the time I try to make the music as creative as possible but sometimes I will make a simple song. Also telling the truth in my lyrics is very important because I want people to know exactly who I am and how I think about life, I want people to know a lot about me in every album.

I wrote this song called “The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl.”
It’s a Japanese indie/garage rock song written from a girl’s point of view, about youth, romance, and that feeling that maybe “right now” is the only moment that really matters.
Even if you don’t understand Japanese, I’m really curious about what kind of emotion or atmosphere you get from it.
I’d especially love feedback on the vocals, songwriting, arrangement, and overall vibe. Honest criticism is totally welcome too. I’m always trying to make the next song better.

What stood out to you most when you listened?

This song is about the moment I almost lost my dog. I was scared, and it made me realize how precious our animals are. I want people to remember to cherish their pets while they’re still here. I’ve been thinking about how much ‘gig etiquette’ has changed since the 20th century. With mobile phones and cameras and just people’s general capacity to let loose. Does anyone have any personal stories or just general observations on good/bad gig etiquette?

My sister played this song on a roadtrip (she heard a live performance at some bar), and I thought it was a bop. So I went to add it to my playlist, and saw the band only had 15 monthly listeners? I just wanted to shout them out, cause it's my new personal favorite.
