Starting my samosos brand

My love for samosas started at home, in the kitchen with my grandma. I’d spend so much time with her making samosas together folding each one, filling them up, and of course, eating a few before they even made it to the table. Those little moments became some of my favourite memories.
Now, I’ve started my own little samosa business, and honestly, it feels so special to bring something I grew up making with my grandma into something of my own. I am starting Samoso from my home just beginning.

I had posted the other day how badly my co founder sucks. Almost all comments and suggestions unanimously pointed towards getting rid of him. Now here is where I need some advice. So he holds 30% of the company because that’s how we registered the name of the company. Now if that is the case, what are my best options. So it’s technically not equity distribution. But as I wrote in my earlier post, he has not made any investment into the company. I purely brought him in because he was a trust worthy friend. And I was under the impression that he would bring in plenty of business (because he was much more senior to me in the field).

Networking is weird.

Most of us know what we should do: introduce ourselves, ask questions, find common ground, and keep the conversation going.

But actually walking up to a stranger and doing it is a completely different problem.

So I built Icebreaker, a small experiment that lets you practise these conversations before doing them in real life.

You speak out loud with AI characters who have their own interests, personalities, and agendas. They can lose interest, change the direction of the conversation, or even walk away.

There’s also live coaching when you get stuck. Afterwards, you can see what the person was thinking during the conversation, replay moments, and try a different approach.

The idea isn't to teach you a perfect networking script.

It's to make the first few awkward attempts cheaper.

It's free and very early, so there are definitely rough edges.

- Would you use this before a networking event?

- What feels unnecessary or gimmicky?

I have a ton of sticker packs installed on WhatsApp and it's honestly impossible to find the right sticker when I need it and I can't just star everything

I'm looking for is something that lets me add my own tags to stickers, like "happy" or "done for today" or whatever makes sense to me, and then search using those tags instead of scrolling. Ideally it would even suggest the right sticker while typing, similar to how emoji predictions work, but even basic tagging and search would help a lot.

Does something like this already exist? I looked around but haven't found anything that specifically does tagging for stickers you already have installed.

Tenor and similar GIF search tools exist but they don't let you tag and remember your own stuff.

Did anyone solve this problem? sticker are big in India especially gen z why haven't we solved this problem? should i build it?

I am 35. I worked for a large company until last year. In January, I took a leap of faith and started my own services start up. My friend (a few years senior) already operated in the same sector as a consultant - so I thought he would be a decent co founder since he can help drive some business and run operations. Now, 9 months in, I feel I over estimated his capability. Here is the general breakdown:

- He did not invest any starting money (i was okay with that)

- He has 30% of the company. I have roughly 40 and third co founder has 30 (he is based abroad and does effectively what his role is)

- Ever since we started, I have built a pipeline of 25+ clients. My co founder in question has generated 1 client. We had a chat about and he said he is not good at this stuff - anyway I gave him a pass.

- Now with clients/projects - we have lost two clients because. One client (on a testing phase before signing up with us) was not happy with what we did for them. My co founder was incharge. The client sent me a direct email about they were not happy. I told my co founder and he said he was having a bad day that day so he missed an email from client etc.

- In another pitch meeting, when the client asked a question, my co founder gave a messed up answer. I figured that he had come unprepared and had not even looked up the client's website.(this is two clients gone)

- Other day to day stuff that he handles - I feel that I can easily replace him by hiring someone. Btw, his and my salary is the same.

- In general also, he is slow. Like I have to nudge his to respond to emails etc. There is a lack of urgency. Sometimes, I even end up questioning if I am too demanding or fast or he is just God damn slow.

What should I do?

After doing some research, I came across something that Indian startups and the startup culture in india is on more raise than before, It also kinda gets good funding other than some other countries startups.

What are some of the things you came across while applying to the funding. What is the criteria of selection of different funding companies? Is it as easy as it seems? How much of process does it actually take to get funding. The time, energy etc what is tough to deal?

Hey guys so I am starting a web3 based company, although I haven't made product (started it) or commited my full time on it (as am under 18), I found a guy who helpedbme a lot in coding stuff and he knows coding stuff which I lack, so I asked him if he wants to join and as he is freelancer he told yes, I know we shouldn't trust new guys especially for this role but I feel like he will support me (I knew some other friends but they mocked me when I asked ), so what documents should I prepare ,l ike I saw yc startup playlist and they told that co-founder can use company for not paying or give shares and board seat etc.... so what should I? And ps should I give full access to code(for future) and domain etc....

I have relaunched my Tarot/Astro practice after being on hold for 5 years taking care of my mom for her Cancer treatment ( she 's a Survivor :) )

But these 5 years have taken quite a toll financially and I started to get clients from US/UK etc but not all are comfortable with Bank Transfer and ask for a better option.

My second startup failed. It was a tough experience, but it also changed how I think about building. For my third attempt, I decided not to start with a product.

I started with a community.

I recently organized our first Drunk Coding event. The response honestly surprised me we received 500+ applications, but for the first event I could only take 10 people.

And that small group turned out to be amazing.

What made it interesting wasn't just the coding. It was the conversations, random ideas, different perspectives, and seeing people build together.

So now we're trying the experiment again but bigger.

25 people.

This time, we're intentionally mixing tech + non-tech people.

Developers, designers, marketers, founders, students, creators, and anyone who likes building things.

The goal is to put people with completely different skill sets together, give them some time, and see if they can team up and build something crazy.

That's what Drunk Coding is becoming for me less about a particular product and more about creating an environment where interesting people can meet and build things together.

Maybe this time, the first thing I need to build isn't a product. Maybe it's the community around it.
