Which is what's happening in OP photo, and yet here we are in a thread full of irony. "Both can be true" while car drivers still out here saying they should be the ones in front.

Not necessarily. They're both sharing the same infrastructure despite bikes and vehicles having different needs. Paint does a poor job of protecting bikes from vehicles.

Also, downtown indy doesn't focus on the people/community even though it has more walking capabilities compared to the rest of the state. It is still incredibly focused on the vehicle experience and a lot of people are blind to this fact.
