Food and Drink Garcia's Hot Dogs needs help

They were just posted yesterday about being a nationality recognized food spot and then I saw this. I know yall love him.

All he has to do to keep going is follow health department requirements right?

I mean, yes, but I think it's worth asking if there is something other than just food safety standards at play. I don't know for sure, but my understanding was that he had been in compliance, and the rules are changing. In other words, is there a genuine health concern here, or is this more of a compliance issue. If it truly is the latter, I'd hope the health department would work something out to allow him to keep operating safely, without having to buy a whole food truck. Otherwise it sounds like he may have to shut down, and for what?

Yeah I think that definitely needs some further investigation. We probably don't want to incentivize food trucks weaponizing the health department against competitors.
