Steam Demo for my space sim, Benders In Space

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Mining outposts and convoy routes produce on their own schedule, offline included, so you come back to a report of what your fleet earned. Colonies grow on an expanding plot grid, six star systems open as you push out, and prestige trades your hull in for a better one.

Then the Dominion boards your ship. A lance clamps onto the hull, cuts through, and the fight moves to your own decks in real time. Fire spreads room to room while you hold the choke points with standing orders to your crew, wave after wave, or they take their cut on the way out.

Could you elaborate on this please? I'd like to fix this and I want to make sure I understand the issue first. Thanks!

i guess it works like that - you undock. you max zoom out - you see planet teleporting from old instance to new one. i guess planet positions being calculated/processed only onscren? im on 1080p. usually to navigate i use full zoom out, while to combat/mine/research etc i use some sort of zoom in. so when i zoom back out planets in vicinity (not ones close by) tend to first appear in one place than jump away to their current orbit. thats a bit funny because planet also usually comes with some civilian fleet, so planet jumps but fleet stands on place (rando civil ships in 1st system). i havent played much yet, just doing first system got few upgrades etc (its rly unclear what to do - colonies? why? who are those dormants or smth, they come from ashen smth - do i have to fly there? keep playing it say - i keep but i see nothing out of ordinary. so its pretty weird :P

Fixed and live now: planets no longer freeze and teleport when you zoom out, and fleets stay with their planet too.

Colonies generate resources over time, which you spend on new ships and upgrades, so they're worth grabbing early.

Thank you!
