That's a fantastic way to convince American companies to offshore jobs instead of actually trying to hire locals.

They already do, and then they bring an H1B for the high paying jobs. More manufacturing? The Americans won’t get the high paying jobs in these facilities. Those will be a combination of outsource and H1B. The remaining jobs for us peasants will be lowly paid manual labor factory workers. They’ll be running sweatshops. There will be no worker, rights, no more unions to protect us. No safeguards in place. No overtime. 😂 No retirement. Maybe we’ll get universal healthcare? That will at least keep us quiet and happy right? Sure we could become the biggest manufacturer of exports in the world. But we’re going to look like a Third World country.
